I have a warm spot for classics as well, but I am no longer 16 - 25 nor am I filled with rage and find it negative looking back rather than thinking ahead. I, too, could list all the greats but I wanted to provide new and different artists I am now enjoying. Doubtless they won't be popular but the question wasn't "which artists that everyone else loves do you listen too?" I hesitated to list these two but what the heck, I love em:

I admit to ignorance about this issue. Are there organizations in any of these nations they are leaving who are attempting to help them improve their homeland so they will be motivated to stay? I imagine these immigrants are fleeing war zones? I don't think you can do much about that. -
